EARLS COLNE U11s vs Wivenhoe at home.

Result 0-8

We are looking forward to making a new signing this week which will hopefully give us the addition legs we need for the B league.

It was always going to be difficult after the previous meeting only a week earlier! Theboys (12 of them) turned up with a far better team attitude and sense of purpose. We are in a difficult league and have not to date had a full squad unlike all our opposition.

We decided to strengthen the back by playing a 4, 5 ,1 formation. The first half started well and the boys played much better and looked the team we know. The back 4 especially Sean, Alex C and Alex H defended well and Brandon doing his usual steady job in goal. The mid field also had a better game with Big H and Kieran A showing their strength and skill. The other lads, William, Jack, Kieran M, Sam and Jordan gave their best, unfortuately Jacob didn't find the form from the previous week. The second half saw us tire and them score and score.
