Stanway Rovers Yellows vs EARLS COLNE U11s

Result 2-0

Luck was never with us, we struggled to get 11 boys due to hloidays. Keiran M family delayed their holiday until after the match. On the day 1 lad was ill therefore back to 10 boys.

The boys played their socks off, and gave Stanway a tough game. They dominated the first half (yes 10 of them) but again luck was not there. Several attempts on goal and scuffed kicks at the crucial moment denied us a goal.

Against play Stanway scored 1-0 half time. The second half continued in the same vein with us getting tired and all their subs it was looking impossible.

Stanway scored again and the final score was 2-0.
The Stanway manager summed it up at the end 'the better team lost'

Keep your head up boys you just need to play the same and have the luck! I'm sure this week will be ours.
