Earls Colne U13 V Lawford U13.

FINAL SCORE ECY U13 7 LAWFORD 0

Lawford juniors are a division higher than us and just pipped us to 2nd place in the league last season, hence they got promoted we didn't.

This was always going to be a difficult match for us especially as we had a bare 11 and no goal keeper so Christian Lewis, had to go in goal.

To my pleasant surprise we took the lead with a great goal from Arran Baker,after some good work down the right involving Matt Cross and Jake Fitzsimmons.From
there on in it was one way traffic, the right way,Christian only saw the ball a couple of times in the first half.. Half time came and we were 4.0 up after another two
from Arran and one from Matt.The second half was much the same with another two Arran baker goals and one from Ollie Green.

This was a terrific performance from all eleven players, this made it difficult to choose man of match so I decided that two players deserved it for their quality passes
and hard work, they are Robert Bradshaw and Ollie Green.

And on to round two.
