Earls Colne U13 v Cornard Dynamos.
This on paper should have been a close game, it turned out to be quite one sided in the end.
We scored first, after about 10 minutes of good football, the Cornard defence cleared the ball from their penalty box only to find Jake Fitzsimmons, after a couple of
touches he hit the ball and it flew into the net, not long after Cornard got the equalizer after some good work down their right wing.
We scored another two with one from Arran Baker and another from Jake, half time and we are winning 3-1.
The second half got under way and we carried on playing as we did in the first half, some really good one and two touch football, we were 5-1 up with goals from
Christian Lewis and another one from Arran before they got their second goal with a high cross which Ed Turp could not reach and it was bundled into the net.
We didn't let that dampen our spirits even though the weather was trying its best to,we just carried on playing the way we practice and ended up scoring another
five goals 10-2 the final score.A great result as they are one of the better sides in the league. This result puts us back on top, with Wivenhoe not playing this
week we are 3 points ahead of them and 7 goals better as well,
