What a great result for Earls Colne who dominated the game for the entire match. All members of the team put in great performances. The defence were determined in their tackling and marking which gave the opponents no chance scoring apart from one shot which hit the upright. They kept position and also put some good balls up front for the forwards. The forwards were running well and took all of their chances with the results speaking for themselves. They also started to look around and started to pass instead of trying to beat every man themselves. Perhaps they have started to appreciate one the most important rules of playing good football “ SPACE”. Everybody should be proud of their achievement today and long may this spirit continue. It was a complete team effort and it would not be right to single out any one player but I think that two were outstanding Reed Heaney and Kane Gilbert who ran at full speed for the whole match
