There were signs of some 'real' football. Lots of passing and team work. Well done lads a great performance.

A wet and miserable morning weather wise, but not boring!
The first half saw the goals but the second half had the action.
The first half was fairly average with EC taking time to get into the game, the referee made sure the throw ins were taken correctly.
Half time one all.
The second half included some great passes and team work, with Alex H having another excellant game. Brandon made a number of saves on and off the line. On two occassions Sean cleared off the line to deny FC Clacton. Their goal keeper also made some good
saves, Willliam missing the goal, Michael R nearly heading the ball in and many more attempts.
The last 10 minutes were very stressful it could have gone either way. EC put pressure on but didn't finish, then FC Clacton made a break for it.
The last few minutes lasted forever. |
